Chapter Highlights: OCA-Greater Los Angeles

On June 15, the OCA - Greater LA chapter held a community screening of “American Born Chinese” from Disney+ to a full house of 200 attendees. The event included a panel discussion with actor Yeo Yann Yann and creator Gene Luen Yang, moderated by filmmaker and professor Renee Tajima-Pena. The successful event was organized by Bill Imada and IW Group, in collaboration with the UCLA Asian American Studies Department, Center for Scholars and Storytellers, and Japanese American National Museum.
