Rosario Joaquin and Andrew Peng: One of America's oldest AAPI publications is getting a broader scope—and a new look.
What is IMAGE?
IMAGE Magazine is one of the oldest and longest-running English-language publications serving Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in the United States, with a rich history spanning more than four decades.
Originally founded in 1977 as a quarterly newsletter of the Organization of Chinese Americans, today’s IMAGE Magazine showcases photography, art, creative stories, and commentary that shatter stereotypes and celebrate the vibrant AAPI experience. Learn about our history.
IMAGE Magazine is now published twice yearly by OCA National Center, with 1,000-3,000 print copies sent exclusively to OCA members. Submit art, stories, poetry, advertising inquiries and more to Communications Associate Andrew Peng: andrew.peng@ocanational.org.
