OCA-WHV is pleased to announce its
2022 Mentoring Asian Pacific Professionals program.
This will be a three-part in-person workshop over a one-and-a-half-month period with four additional one-on-one sessions between mentors and mentees.
Preregistration is required. The registration deadline is March 15, 2022. Please register early at the address on the flier. Your registration information will allow us to match you with the appropriate mentor/mentee.
Convening Objectives

April 9, 2022 | 12PM- 4PM
Objectives:
Provide an overview of the program purpose, process, and timelines including roles and responsibilities of key program staff, facilitators, mentees, and mentors.
Provide orientation and training to the mentees and mentors on fulfilling their roles as a mentoring team over the initial mentoring cycle.
Introduce the MAAP Mentoring Network and provide an overview of the added value to accessing the national and regional mentoring pool.

Objectives:
To review, reinforce, and expand on topics explored within the 1:1 mentoring sessions through discussions and exercises
To extend peer learning and networking opportunities to individuals and professional organizations outside of the MAAP mentoring cycle

To further develop career goals and objectives based on past workshop discussions, exercises, and personal reflections
To gain a real-world perspective on how to actualize your goals in your career
What are the costs?
Mentors: No charge and a free one-year individual OCA membership or membership extension will be provided.
Mentees: Free for existing OCA individual or family members. $40 if not an individual or family member; includes one-year individual membership
