AAPI Womxn's Initiative

OCA's AAPI Womxn's Initiative started in 2016 as part of its effort to be more aware and inclusive of issues and challenges that AAPI womxn face. The initiative had its inaugural AAPI Women LeadHERship Summit in Washington, D.C., on November 3, 2016 to discuss how AAPI Womxn can uplift and support each other but also to discuss their collective civic power. It is our goal to bring this annual LeadHERship Summit to a different region of the country so we can continue to share and build new networks of AAPI womxn leaders.

Initiative Goals:

  • Convene AAPI womxn from various regions, sectors, and careers and develop them to their highest potential

  • Sustain a framework to train and develop AAPI womxn leaders throughout the country

  • Develop a strong and uplifting network of AAPI womxn leaders

This year we will be hosting the second LeadHERship Summit in Houston, Texas on November 3, 2017. See below for registration and program details.
