In this session we'll learn how fierce API women have organized, cultivated sisterhood and stood up to be heard in the streets and the halls of legislation and what you can do to be part of it.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Shattering Taboos: Understanding & Recognizing Domestic Violence in a South Asian Context and Creating Community Awareness
A session on how to recognize signs of domestic violence, not be a bystander, and change the taboo of not talking about domestic violence in AAPI communities.
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Forging Ahead: Where and How Do We Go From Here?
Moderator: Diane Wong
