OCA, a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans, is relieved US journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee are home safe after being imprisoned for more than four months in North Korea. They were sentenced to 12 years of hard labor for illegally entering the country while covering a story.

Former President Bill Clinton visited North Korea this week and returned today with both journalists. In June, OCA joined many social justice organizations calling for the swift reunification of Ling and Lee with their families.
