OCA, a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans (APAs), is pleased to announce that their National President Ken Lee will receive an award at the Leadership Education for Asian Professionals, Inc. (LEAP) 2009 Annual Leadership Awards Dinner at the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles. He will receive the award this evening, July 16, 2009.
This award celebrates the leadership and accomplishments of individuals and organizations that exemplify LEAP’s mission to achieve full participation and equality for Asian Pacific Americans through leadership, empowerment and policy.
"The OCA family is tremendously proud of Ken Lee and has known for years about his accomplishments,” said OCA Executive Vice President Michael Kwan. "He is someone who leads by example, and has proven himself as a wonderful president and dedicated OCA member by serving on our board for years.”
Lee will be a prominent face at the 2009 OCA National Convention to be held in his hometown of San Francisco on Aug. 6-9, 2009
