Ed Lew joined OCA in 2007 as a member of the Board of the Directors of OCA-Greater Los Angeles. He served as GLA’s chapter President in 2008 and again from 2011 through 2013. Ed was Co-Chair of the 2014 OCA National Convention in Los Angeles, which was one of his most rewarding experiences with OCA to date.
Ed works as Principal Counsel for The Walt Disney Company, where he advises on transactions and issues related to interactive/connected media and technology. Ed is a past president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County and continues to serve on its Advisory Board. He also is the current President of the Asian Pacific Alumni of UCLA and a Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Friends of the Theater. He received his BA degrees in Economics and Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley, with distinction, and his JD from the UCLA School of Law.
Ed recently received the Best Under 40 Award from the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association in Washington, DC and the Community Leadership Award from the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center in Los Angeles.
