Ada L. Loo works for The Boeing Company as its Global Trade Counsel, supporting the company on all international trade matters. Ada is primarily responsible for supporting Boeing’s Global Trade Controls (GTC) organization (an internal corporate group that consists of over 200 employees) and the overall company on a wide range of complex international trade matters that cover the regular application of U.S. Export Control Laws and Regulations (i.e., EAR and ITAR), OFAC sanctions, and various import/customs matters. Prior to joining Boeing, Ada began her legal career as a government attorney for two agencies – the Departments of Homeland Security and Commerce. She then practiced at a large law firm in Washington DC, representing various industry clients before the Departments of State, Commerce, Treasury, and Defense. Ada received her undergraduate degree at Emory University and her law degree at American University's Washington College of Law.
Outside of practicing law, Ada is a strong supporter of the AAPI community and currently serves as the pro bono General Counsel for OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates and chairs the DC Mayor’s Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs.
