Welcome to OCA where the hearts and minds of an immigrant community come together in creating the great American story.  OCA is about grassroots advocacy, it’s about national presence - it’s about an organization’s ability to endure for more than 35 years in the nation’s capital.  With its uniquely effective dual structure of national headquarters and local chapters, OCA is able to address national issues as well as those impacting the local regions. 

Since 1973, OCA’s members and chapters throughout the country have been a voice for the Asian Pacific American community.  In the courtrooms, school rooms, press rooms, corporate boardrooms, at the White House and in Congress, wherever Asian Americans have a presence, OCA continues its efforts to advocate for social justice, encourage civic activism, develop leadership, and monitor legislation, - consistent with its mission of advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans in the United States.
